Full SERP Report

Last updated on Wednesday, April 23, 2025

The newest addition to our report types is a full SERP report, which shows all results on the SERP for up to 1000 keywords! You either select individual keywords, or download the report for the first 1000 keywords matching your current filters.

In this article, you can learn how to download the full SERP report and what data it contains.

Download

You will find a "Download report" button on the keywords page next to the “Add keywords” button. Here, you can download a full SERP report. The report format can be either CSV or Google Sheets, and you can choose 10, 20, 50, 100, or all results per SERP. full_serp_report_download_report_modal.png

The new report type includes more results than previous reports, and you can see all results on the SERPs for the chosen keywords. This help guide explains the meaning of all columns and provides an overview of the new report type.

Columns

Keyword, search date, search type, search engine, country, and location

The first six columns, i.e., "keyword", "search_date", "search_type", "search_engine", "country", and "location", are self-explanatory.

Element type, position on SERP, rank in SERP feature and rank

The four columns "element_type", "position_on_serp", "rank_in_serp_feature", and "rank" are best explained together. Each SERP has several results, which we call elements, and each element has an element type, position, and rank in SERP feature.

The “element_type” column states whether the element is a organic or one of the many SERP features that AccuRanker track. The current options are:

organic, ad_top, ad_in_between, ad_bottom, ai_overview, apps, carousel, direct_answer, events, flights, forum_post, hotels, image_pack, image_product_pack, job_posting, knowledge_cards, news, podcasts, recipes, people_also_ask, people_also_search_for, shop_styles, shopping, video_carousel, autocorrect, filter_menu, results_about, knowledge_panel, knowledge_panel_price_comparison, youtube_ads, youtube_promoted_video, youtube_related_movies, youtube_people_also_search_for, youtube_secondary_search_container, other

Note, that AccuRanker tracks more SERP features than these, which are found in the "serp_features_result_enhancing" column. Everything you can "rank on" in AccuRanker is classified as element type organic, this includes for instance local results. But an organic result may also be "enhanced" by certain SERP features, for instance reviews or site links.

The “position_on_serp” is given by counting from top to bottom, starting from one. Elements appearing on the right-hand side of the SERP are given a positional value of zero.

The “rank_in_serp_feature” is the rank within an element and is given by counting left to right, top to bottom, starting from one. Finally, the “rank” is obtained by counting top to bottom starting from one, while only counting results with element type "organic" and considering the advanced settings for the keyword (ignored domain, ignore local results, ignore featured snippet).

full_serp_report_position_vs_rank_sketch.png The image shows a non-organic element in position 1 followed by two organic results in positions 2 and 3. The element with rank 1 is the first organic element. The first non-organic element has multiple elements inside the SERP feature, which are highlighted with red boxes, and the rank in SERP feature for each is shown with a red number.

SERP feature result enhancing

We distinguish between SERP features which are "elements" on the SERP themselves and enhancing SERP features. Enhancing SERP features "enhance" a SERP element. A review is an example of an enhancing SERP feature. The column gives a list of enhancing features for every element. full_serp_report_enhancing_serp_feature.png

The possible options are

faq, featured_snippet, featured_video, local, organic_store, popular_store, reviews, rich_product_info, site_links, thumbnails, tweet, video, youtube_channel, youtube_live_stream, youtube_playlist, youtube_radio, youtube_show, youtube_video

Typically, it is organic results that are enhanced. For instance, an Organic result can have the enhancing feature "local" indicating it is a local result, or "featured_snippet" indicating it has a featured snippet. But results with other element types than organic can also have enhancing features, for instance Ads can also have reviews.
